We have had dachshunds in our lives for the last 30 years. Our first little one, Skoshi, was given to us by our daughter. She lit up our lives with love. We cannot think of not having a dachshund or two (or more) with us for the rest of our lives.
After we retired to a small ranch, we decided this would be the time to enjoy raising puppies. Our sons helped us convert a storage shed into a very nice kennel, put up fencing, lawn, and all the other things a working kennel needs. We started with three little ones in 2002 and have continued to grow and enjoy all our babies. Most of them trade off time in the house with us, some travel and camp out with us, and all spend as much time as possible, with us, daily.
The most rewarding part of raising dachshunds for us, has been, meeting and getting to know so many lovely people, who feel the same way we do about them. We love getting phone calls, e-mails, cards and notes from our extended families, telling us how their dachshund or dachshunds are doing, how smart, loving and beautiful they are.
Our goal as a responsible Dachshund breeder is to continuously strive to produce the best possible quality puppy for the confirmation and temperament. Our puppies are carefully bred, well supervised, healthy, beautiful and well socialized which will produce a wonderfully adjusted family addition which owners can enjoy for years to come. As reputable breeders, we will stand behind our puppies. We will share our knowledge, experience and advice in your new pets life and development. We are very pleased to share information about our pets. If you have any questions, or would like further information, please contact us at 775-423-8104 or

| What our primary vet says: |
| Darrell and Mollee Marsh are very conscientious dachshund breeders. They painstakingly choose only conformationally sound and healthy breeding stock. Pregnant bitches are examined during pregnancy to insure their health as well as the health of the soon to be born puppies. Examinations of each and all puppies to be sold are performed by veterinarians at our clinic. Each puppy receives vaccinations and dewormings at their proper intervals under guidelines established by our clinic. I am pleased to recommend the Marsh puppies to anyone looking for dachshund companions!
Sincerely,
Craig L. Schank, D.V.M. |

These are some other letters we have received : |
| |
| Our lives have been enormously enriched by a little black and tan mini-dachshund named Teddy. After weary weeks of ramping through pet stores staffed with people who really knew nothing about the puppies arriving from some distant state and searching the newspaper for backyard litters, we learned about Darrell and Mollee Marsh's remarkable home in Fallon. The Marsh's business was born out of their lifetime love for the breed. And it shows. Their puppies are born and raised in a healthy, happy and safe environment. All our questions were answered confidently and completely. The Marshes maintain an enduring interest in the puppies who leave their care, and insist that they go to and stay in suitable homes. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Marsh dachshund family. Please call us anytime about our experience.

It is with great pleasure that I write a letter of recommendation for Mollee and Darrell Marsh's Miniature Dachshund Kennels. In January we brought our Rosie, a 10 week-old, miniature red piebald, home. The moment we saw the immaculate kennels, watched the dogs interact with each other and adults, and were able to see Rosie's parents, we knew this was the kennel for us.
The kennels are 5 star. Each one has an indoor and outside fenced grass area accessible through a dog door. Rosie was virtually potty trained when we brought her home. The kennels, linens, dog beds, bowls and everything were spotless.
The breeders, Mollee and Darrell, spend endless hours with their dogs and the puppies are often seen in their home. We feel that Rosie's breeding and care assured she would be intelligent, playful, and have a wonderful temperament and personality. For that, we are very grateful.
Sincerely,
Karen Hansen and Rosie |
